Greggs launching ‘vegan friendly’ sausage roll  - ITV News
Greggs' social media team have been forced to fend off thousands of comments after it launched a “vegan friendly” version of an old customer favourite – the sausage roll. Greggs, which sells 1.5 million traditional sausage rolls per week, said the UK’s 3.5 million vegans will be able to enjoy a “next generation” version of its best-selling item. Opinion on Twitter was divided with some customers expressing their anger at the new addition to the menu.

London has the equivalent of almost a class of homeless children per school in the capital, shocking new figures show. A staggering 88,410 school-age youngsters are without a home in the city which is at least 24 times more than any other city in England, the data revealed. Homeless charity Shelter said there are the equivalent of 28 children who do not have a permanent home for every school there is in London.
